Seamless Video Player privacy policy

Seamless Video Player is a local video playback app from 34WERWE. This policy explains how the app handles information.

Collection and sharing

The app does not send your videos, file information or playback history to the developer. It has no Internet permission, does not accept direct HTTP or HTTPS playback links, and has no configured account, advertising, analytics, tracking or crash-reporting service. The app does not sell personal information.

Files and information on your device

You select videos through Android’s document picker or Open with. The app reads the files that Android grants it permission to open; it does not request broad access to your media library. To provide Recent and resume playback, it saves the selected file’s reference and display name, and playback positions associated with file references, in app-private storage on your device. This is not an encrypted vault. The app disables Android backup and excludes its saved preferences from cloud backup and device transfer.

Android’s media controls, notifications and lock screen may display the selected video’s title and playback status. Android controls how that information appears.

Android providers and external links

The document provider you choose may be a cloud service and may download a file using its own network access. Opening the full privacy policy launches your browser. Providers, browsers, Android and Google Play operate under their own privacy practices. This policy describes the player itself, not those other services.

Playback permissions

Foreground media playback, notification and wake-lock capabilities support user-initiated playback and Android media controls when the app is in picture-in-picture or the background, including while the screen is off. These capabilities do not give the app broad file or Internet access. Availability depends on device settings and supported media formats.

Retention and deletion

Saved references and playback positions remain on the device until removed by the app or until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall it. Clearing storage or uninstalling does not delete your original videos. Android can revoke file access; a revoked or unavailable file must be selected again. The player has no user accounts or developer-hosted playback history to delete.

Children

The player does not collect personal information from its users, including children.

Changes

If the app’s data practices change, this policy and the Google Play Data Safety information will be updated before the changed version is released.
